Spinning since 1988, Carlos Familia is driven by the pulse of House, Disco, Funk, and Latin music. Inspired by the sounds of the streets of New York City and its vibrant culture, his journey began under the name Carlos Jose as part of the DJ duo Two In The Mix.
He later became a Latin Music Director for the legendary VIP Record Pool, building deep connections within the music industry and working behind the scenes with various record labels.
After stepping away from the industry to focus on family life, the passion for dance and Latin music never faded. That passion reignited his return—giving birth to the evolution known today as Carlos Familia.
Blending classic influences with modern energy, and enhanced by live performance elements, his sound delivers feel-good vibrations, infectious grooves, and a fully immersive dancefloor experience.
